Here is a condensed slideshow for blog post commenting used in G1.
The format/structure of the comment should be like a letter and we refer to it as G.C.C. Commenting (include a Greeting, Compliment, Closing).
Blog post commenting is introduced with the Digital Citizenship Lesson #2 - Showing Respect Online, linked here. Most importantly, students are taught to think before they comment and ask themselves 3 questions:
1. Would I say this in person?
2. Did I only use first names?
3. Was my comment positive?
