All grade 5 students participated in the Hour of Code again this year. They used the LightBot app on their iPads. It was great to see the DSLOs in action:
- critical thinking and problem-solving
- collaboration.
Most importantly, I saw students demonstrating perseverance.
Breaking the problem into smaller pieces. Testing and evaluation, revising - all excellent problem-solving strategies.
